  • Creek Classic Success
    Congratulations to all the Celtic teams who were finalists or champions at this year's Creek Classic! The U10 Girls White and U13 Girls Premier both finished as Champions of their age groups. The U10 Boys White team were the U11 Red Division Champions (playing up). The U8 Boys White and U12 Girls White (playing up in highest U13 division) were both finalists.     Congratulations to the U8 Boys White team for winning the MVYSA U8 Premier Division title!
  • U14 Girls Continue Success
    Congratulations to the U14 Girls White team for an outstanding spring season of accomplishments! The girls finished as the Buckeye Premier League U14 Elite (highest) Division Champions and were runners-up in the Midwest Regional League First Division White scoring 21 goals while conceding only 4. The team also finished as semi-finalists in the Championship Division (highest) of the FC Delco Players Cup held this spring in Philadelphia, PA. Congratulations to all the girls!
  • U10 Girls MVYSA Champions
    Congratulations to the U10 Girls White team for finishing as the undefeated U11 Division 1 Champions! Quite an accomplishment while playing up an age group.
  • U13 Girls Warrior Classic Champions!
    The BSA Celtic 95 Premier continued their spring tournament success by winning the U13 Gold (top) Division of the adidas Warrior Classic. The three day tournament held over Memorial Day weekend 23-25 May 2009 is the largest 3 day tournament in Region II. The ladies swept through group play by defeating Worthington Crew Jrs. Gold 4-1, Cleveland Kickers SC 2-0 and Capital Area United 2-1. The BSA Celtic 95 Premier then prevailed over Cleveland Soccer Academy 2-1 in a hard fought, exciting semi-final match. The BSA Celtic 95 Premier would then finish the tournament unbeaten and untied by winning the finals against CSA Premier 2-0. Congratulations to the players and coaches on another successful tournament.

  • U13 Girls Elite Invitational Champions!
    The BSA Celtic 95 Premier were crowned champions in the silver division of the Elite Invitational the weekend of 25-26 April 2009.  After a 0-0 draw with Westside Premier, the BSA Celtic 95 Premier won their remaining fixtures 5-0 vs. Fort Wayne Fever, 3-1 vs. Lexington FC and 3-0 vs. FC Phoenix to claim the champions trophy. Congratulations ladies!

  • U9 Boys White Warrior Classic Finalists!
    The Celtic 99 Boys White team were finalists in the Warrior Classic this past weekend falling to Team Ohio in the championship game. The Celtic survived a very competitive group defeating Warren County United Blue 4-1 and losing a barnburner to Team Ohio 8-6. After getting by Xtabi in the semi-finals, the Celtic were rematched against Team Ohio in the finals but fell short. Congratulations boys on a great tournament run!

  • State Cup Success
    Congratulations to the U13 Girls Premier team for making it to the Round of 8 in the Ohio South State Cup!
  • Celtic Coaches Wanted
    The BSA Celtic Soccer Club is accepting coaching applications for boys and girls U-8 through U-14 teams. These teams are to compete at a high level. Application deadline is May 1. The application for coaching positions can be found here.
  • Tournament Success
    Several Celtic teams took home trophies in recent spring tournament action. The U8 Girls White team were Middletown Spring Blast Champions while the U8 Boys White and U12 Girls White teams were finalists. The U9 Boys White team took the championship trophy in the Cincinnati Elite Spring Thaw. The U13 Boys White and U13 Girls Premier were both KSA Adidas Turf Classic Champions. Congratulations to all the teams on their early spring success!

    The Spring 2009 Popp (PTR) and Keeper (KTR) Training schedules are now posted. Please see the calendar.
  • Popp Training Cancelled for Tonight
    Popp Training is cancelled for tonight, Tuesday, January 27, due to the Winter Storm Warning.
  • State Cup Registration Now Open
    Ohio South State Cup registration is now open. Registration forms are due in the Ohio South office by February 17, 2009.
  • Winter Popp Training Postponed
    All Popp Winter Training scheduled for this week will be pushed back one week and not start until Monday, January 12. An additional week of indoor training will be added at the end of the winter session during the week of March 2 to make-up for the postponed first week. There will be no Popp Winter Indoor training this week, January 5-9, 2009

    It's that time again for spring uniform re-orders. Team Uniform Representatives must turn in all orders by January 11th. Forms are available here.

    The BSA Celtic Board meeting has been moved to Sunday, January 11, at 7 pm at the Phillips Center. Board Meetings are normally held on the first Sunday of each month. Please see the calendar for future dates.

  • Special Board Meeting
    There will be a special BSA Celtic Board Meeting to discuss the new fall Haunted Classic Tournament. The meeting will be held on Sunday, December 7, at 7:00 pm at the Phillips Center. We need as many people as possible to attend who are willing to volunteer to help with the tournament in any way. It is important that representatives from each team attend the meeting.

    The U8 Girls White were the MVYSA U8 Premier Division Champions for Fall 2008. The girls were undefeated and finished a perfect 8-0-0. Congratulations!

    The U8 Boys White were the MVYSA U8 Premier 1A Division Champions for Fall 2008. Congratulations!

    The U10 Girls White were the MVYSA U10 Premier Division Champions for Fall 2008. Congratulations!
  • U14 Girls White BPYSL Elite Champions!
    The U14 Girls White were the Buckeye Premier Elite Division Champions for Fall 2008. This is the highest division in Ohio South's top league. Congratulations! The U14 Girls were also the runners-up in the WAGS tournament in Washington, DC. This is the highest rated girls soccer tournament in the U.S. See the Celtic Success page for more on this team's accomplishments.
  • U9 Boys White MVYSA Champions!
    The U9 Boys White were undefeated U10 Division 1 Champions for Fall 2008. This is the third season in a row that the U9 White team has captured the MVYSA League Championship. The Celtic 99 Boys White have never lost an MVYSA game. Congratulations to the coaches and all the boys!
  • U8 Girls Cincy Hi5 Champions
    The U8 Girls White team were undefeated and took the Cincy Hi5 Championship with a 3-0 victory over Warren County. Congratulations girls!

  • U11 Girls Capture Arsenal Cup
    The Celtic U11 Girls White team won the Silver Division of the Arsenal Challenge Cup over the August 16th and 17th weekend. The girls were undefeated winning the final 2-0 over the Kings Soccer Academy of Cincinnati. Congratulations!
  • U14 Girls Win Charity Cup
    The Celtic U14 Girls Blue team took the Springfield of Dreams Charity Cup August 16th and 17th. The girls were undefeated and took the final 1-0 over the FC Tippecanoe Red Hots from Tipp City. Congratulations!
  • BSA Celtic Annual Membership Meeting
    The Annual General Membership Meeting of the BSA Celtic Soccer Club will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2008, starting at 7:00 PM, at the John Ankeney Soccer Complex Picnic Shelter. For more information, click here.

  • Celtic Players Named To State ODP
    Seven Celtic players were selected to the Ohio South State Olympic Development team this spring. Congratulations to Kelsey S. and Ashley M. (alternates for Regional Camp), and Ashley K., Ashlyn J., Emily R., Catherine D., and Micaela P. on this great honor! As Ohio South State Team members, they are also invited to the Regional Camp in Dekalb, IL, to compete against other Region II State Teams.
  • Celtic Teams Earn Top Rankings
    Celtic teams earn Top 10 rankings in Ohio South. The U11 Girls White team is currently ranked #6, the U12 Girls Premier team #7, the U12 Boys White #10, and the U13 Girls White team #10 in Ohio South at nationalsoccerranking.com. Additionally, the U12 Girls Premier team is currently ranked #4 in Ohio South at gotsoccer.com. Congratulations to all the players and coaches for this recognition of your hard work!
  • Celtic Teams in State Cup
    Several Celtic teams make it to Round of 8 in the State Cup including the U11 Girls White, U12 Girls Premier, and U13 Girls White. Congratulations on the strong showing in the State Cup! 
  • U11 Girls White Wins Buckeye Premier
    The U11 Girls White were the Spring 2008 Champions of the Buckeye Premier League. The BPYSL includes the top teams in Ohio South including this year's State Cup Finalist. Congratulations to the players and coaches!
  • U8 Boys White MVYSA Champs
    The U8 Boys were undefeated MVYSA Champions for Spring 2008. Repeating a feat they accomplished in the fall, the U8 Boys swept all competition winning the MVYSA U8 Premier Division Championship for the second season in a row without a defeat. Their overall league record is now 20-0-2 (W-L-D). Congratulations to all the players and coaches!
