Coaches
All Celtic coaches are licensed under Ohio South and USSF (United States Soccer Federation) and attend on-going training. New unlicensed coaches are expected to obtain the F License prior to the spring season. All Celtic players train with their team coaches and receive additional professional training under the direction of Jeff Popp and the professional training staff. Most team coaches are volunteers and devote many hours to developing our young soccer talent.
Those wishing to coach next year (both new and returning coaches) must submit a completed Coaching Application form to Jeff Popp (see forms below).
Special Note: The BSA Celtic Soccer Club is now accepting coaching applications for boys and girls U-8 through U-14 teams for the upcoming 2010-2011 seasons. These teams compete at a high level. The application deadline is Monday, April 12, 2010. The coaching application form can be found below.
Technical Staff
 Jeff Popp, Director of Coaching Jeff is a graduate of Wright State University and a ten-year veteran of the NPSL (National Professional Soccer League). His extensive playing career included clubs in Dayton/Cincinnati and Milwaukee. As an NPSL All-Star, Jeff has dedicated over 18 years developing the talents of youth and young adult soccer players.
