Celtic teams play in local, state, and regional leagues throughout the Midwest. To learn more about these leagues and to lookup game schedules, follow the links below.
Each league has a different set of league-specific rules. The link below contains information on league-specific rules.
The Celtic Soccer Club is part of U.S. Youth Soccer and participates in the Ohio South Youth Soccer Association (OSYSA) State Cup Championships each spring. State Cup champions go on to compete for the Region II championships against teams from across the Midwest. Regional Champions compete for the U.S Youth Soccer National Championship. U.S. Club Soccer is an alternative USSF (United States Soccer Federation) affiliate that sanctions leagues and holds regional and national championship tournaments. Many Celtic teams are ranked among the top teams in their age group. The following sites maintain rankings for select soccer teams across Ohio South, Region II, and the nation.
U.S. Youth Soccer also runs the Olympic Development Program (ODP). Each year, Celtic soccer players compete against the best players in the Dayton area (district), Ohio South (state), and Region II (regional) all for an opportunity to make the U.S. National Team player pool. Tryouts are held at each level and players must be selected to try out at the next level. Information on the Olympic Development Program is available at the Ohio South (OSYSA) web site.
